Teams are landing some good free agents this summer, such as Ben Gordon and Hedo Turkoglu, but this free agent class pales in comparison to the one that we could see next summer in 2010. He sells more NBA tickets than any other player in the league and any team would jump at the chance to get him. There has never been a player of his size, strength and quickness and there is no weakness in his game. He's destined to go down as one of the greatest players of all time.

The Cavaliers are desperate to keep him, but LeBron has not committed to staying past the 2009-10 season. The team acquired Shaquille O'Neal this offseason in an effort to win the title, but Shaq doesn't exactly seem like a long-term plan to keep LeBron in town. The team tried acquiring Trevor Ariza, who could have been a running mate to encourage LeBron about the future of the franchise, but they were unable to convince him to sign.
